Testimonial: Athletic Trainer Pete Dewer about working with Brian Clarke

by Pete Dewar
Head Athletic Trainer, Noblesville High School

As a current professional colleague of Mr. Clarke, I have the highest level of respect and admiration for his teaching methods and clinical knowledge.

Brian and I have worked very closely with each other since my arrival at Noblesville High School in 2013. I quickly recognized the passion, dedication, and drive for excellence that he possessed in every aspect of his career. Whether it is his attention to detail when evaluating student-athlete movements in the weight room, being a mentor for teachers and colleagues, or his continuous efforts to grow the Miller Strength brand, Brian is always striving for authentic relationships.

Clinically, Mr. Clarke’s knowledge is unsurpassed. He understands the importance of having proper joint mobility and being an efficient mover before moving weight. This attention to detail has resulted in a consistently low injury rate with weight room activities, a rate that continues to decrease annually. He continues to work very closely with our sports medicine staff, including our team physicians, to further investigate ways to reduce injuries in his student-athletes.

An ever-present fixture at Noblesville athletic games and practices, Brian’s integrity, honesty, and unselfishness is what has allowed him to truly build “Miller Strength” from the ground up. He has worked tirelessly to not only learn from some of the best coaches and leaders in the industry, but also bring them to Noblesville in the way of clinics and educational programs so that others may learn and grow professionally alongside him.

Brian’s work ethic is contagious to anyone who spends time with him. He brings excitement, enthusiasm, and an unrelenting work ethic with him every day.
